The Henley

Choosing to travel on the Henley is to experience the unique style that only she can offer.

The Henley is an original Thames Steamer launched for the first time in 1896
and was built for Salter Brothers by Edwin Clarke and Company of Brimscombe.

The Henley boasts a beautiful, fully licensed heated bar area in the lower saloon and is ideal for all types of entertainment.
She has an Upper Deck which can have seating and provides a great outdoor all round panorama.
She also has a covered fore-deck.

The Henley can carry up to 85 passengers for sightseeing cruises, approximately 50 passengers for buffet cruises and approximately 26 passengers for sit-down dinners.

The Henley is available all year round for private parties, weddings and corporate events.

We can provide first class catering, live music and themed cruises.

We are also available for charter at most of the River Thames special events e.g.

Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race (March),
Hampton Court Flower Show (July),
Henley Regatta (June/July),
Barge Race (July)
Great River Race (September),
New Years Eve,
and also the traditional festive office parties in December.
